BRAZIL: SQUID GAME or ROND 6. CRIME AND SUICIDE ON NETFLIX

SQUID GAME OR ROUND 6: CRIME AND SUICIDE

Squid game or Round 6 are the titles translated from the Korean language into English in the South Korean series that debuted in October on Netflix. At first glance and first episode it looks like a very low quality series, Life style $1,991 and it really is! The squid game is a children's game where geometric shapes represent a battlefield or ring where the objective is to put the opponent out of the squid which means "death", the same as defeat in the game. It is thus described in the series by player 456:

"In my city we called this game the squid game. It was named after the drawing of a squid that we used to make on the ground. The rules are very simple: children are divided into two groups, attack and defense. The defense can run with both feet within the boundaries of the lines, while the attack from the outside must jump on one foot and becomes the secret inspector. In the final battle they all gathered right at the entrance of the squid; to defeat the attackers you have to place your feet in a small triangle inside the squid's head facing the defenders. If the defense pushes you out of the lines of the squid drawing is the end, you die."

Squid game, Round 6 is a very poor and painful series of nine episodes (a miserable 50 to 60 minutes each) about games, but infinitely far from any Olympic games, "ravenous games, deadly games, deadly combat"2 and even less games for life against sociopathic or psychopathic serial killers in real life (BTK, clown killer)3 or fiction like Fred Grug from Halloween 4 or hunters intergalactic killers. The squid game or Round 6 is actually a game composed of 6 deadly stages (elimination is death pure and simple), it is the fight of despair, hopelessness of indebted competitors versus the trivialization and elimination of the life of the poor as pay-per entertainment -view to appease the tedium of VIP's - rich and billionaires who already have everything money can pay, including killing and/or watching murders for mere fun. It even seems like the crystallization of the character Deputy Justo Veríssimo, by Chico Anysio, who had the catchphrase: "Poor man has more than to die!" A lesson zealously fulfilled in Brazil by the police and official militias against the poor young population with black skin, especially young black people living in favelas, agglomerations, low-income condominiums. The President of the Republic, #Forabolsonarogencida in the skin of Justo Veríssimo, loves the vision and commemoration of CPF CANCELED5, that is, poor dead, machine-gunned and shredded with dozens and/or hundreds of shots.

Not with much good will and I'm extremely good, you can glimpse any discussion or proposition (philosophical-scientific-economic-historical-geopolitical-religious or about neoliberalism and globalization) of reflection - academic or not - about capitalism X communism; tyranny X democracy. And it's what was most commented and posted and replicated by journalistic experts and influencers (synonymous with specialist in little of nothing) right at the premiere of the series.6
"The success of 'Round 6' sheds light on inequality and hopelessness in South Korea. Reflections of the 1990s crisis turned the country into 'Korea from Hell' for part of the population" https://www1.folha.uol.com .br/mundo/2021/10/sucesso-de-round-6-joga-luz- sobre-inequality-and-lack-of-hope-in-south-korea.shtml
Yes, there are some lines that can refer to some dispute or insinuation of something if you're good at Western History and Geography of the 20th Century, but they are mere name-calling, for example:
Episode 1: player 456, 47 years old, Buddhist, lost job in restructuring the motorcycle factory, set up a business and went bankrupt, works at Uber;
Episode 3: player 201 from South Korea calls player 067 from North Korea a "communist bitch" who returns the curse "Revolutionary Assholes" ;
Episode 5: player 067 gets angry at player who prays to God; player 001 and player 456 discuss the strike at the automaker;
Episode 6: The leader talks about democracy on the squid game island:
"Players what you are witnessing [bodies hanging from the group of collaborators who had a parallel market selling organs and the doctor, one of the players] are those who broke the rules for their own benefit and corrupted the pure ideology of this world for themselves . Each one of you is considered equal in this world, you need to have equal opportunity without any discrimination."
Equality??? But No! VIP's or winners, the same as the rich don't run the risk of losing their lives murdered, they only lose bet money and don't even want to commit suicide and yes, they just want fun and sex. Pathetic, is the word that sums up all the bullshit about the spiritual, scientific and philosophical depth of this series that is nothing but rubbish! The blunt truth, Shakespeare would say: it's a lot of ado about nothing! The South Korean series is horrendous looking all over the place and evaluating any questions such as:

* Costumes: Physical Education school uniform, but not "an Adidas" and imitation of La Casa's red paper jumpsuit and black police-wear mask with no art other than geometric shapes; the VIP's masks make the great carnival artist Joãosinho Trinta7 tremble in his coffin, God rest his soul;

*Plot line : seductive appeal of "everything for money, who wants to be a millionaire, wheel of fortune" just like in movies and television programs in Brazil, but with the right to murder;

www.google.com.br/images. Squid game. Scenery looks like pasted poster or wallpaper or maybe a poorly done hologram.

* Soundtrack: simple, it won't leave traces in the memory like the soundtrack of the movie Shark, Star Wars, 2001 A Space Odyssey;

* Lighting: it's darkness, especially in the day's recordings;

* Continuity: a lot of blood, okay, it's a bloody production (blood spurts), but then a bloody fight ensues and players return to the gym in uniforms smeared with powdered strawberry juice or Erythrosine Red - colorant for various uses in the food industry and dentistry as an evidence of bacterial plaque, which shows a lack of money for ketchup or washable and anti-allergic wall paint;

*Actors, interpretation: Jesus, Mary, Joseph! Compassion! Only those who have watched telenovelas from the Record network of the universal bishop edir macedo or the Mexican telenovelas will be able to compare the level. They manage to be worse than "Chaves", mind-training nonsense instilling in the population the inferiority and underdevelopment complex in relation to the so-called first world countries for decades on TV;

* Locations: the games take place on an island and on this there is a structure that appears to be a prison with a covered gym (where probably everything happens) and a courtyard (?); there is a scenario that resembles Barbie's castle full of stairs, a courtyard with giant toys as if the players were rats, hamsters and everything very artificial.

NEWS
There is nothing new in the theme of winners and losers, victorious and unsuccessful, exacerbated individualism, selfishness, competition, corruption of the human character for money, mainly under the aegis of the capitalist system of production. But there is an innovation(?) that is not clearly perceived because everything "for money" is hidden in the discourse and which, in addition to being dangerous, is abject and unacceptable: SUICIDE. Yes, but on the most perverse face of obtaining pleasure: the crime of murder through child's play! Netflix leaves something to be desired by running such a series without the traditional and obligatory SCRIPT about DELETIVE EFFECTS on children and teenagers, ALERT 13 REASONS WY8:
SQUID GAME OR ROUND 6
"In this series, all episodes contain SUICIDE AND MURDERING scenes likely to upset the viewer (especially young people and children or who are in some kind of mental distress such as depression AND IN DEBT). If you or an acquaintance struggles with this, information and features are available at ..."
The use of pranks and children's games is despicable, hateful, abject, UNACCEPTABLE! Chips Game 1,2,3, Candy Game (in Hamster Cage), Tug of War Game, Marble Game, Crystal Bridge, Squid Game are used to murder THE LOSERS, poor and indebted people for pleasure of winners, the rich and SUICIDE is presented as the FINAL SOLUTION for the difficult art of living life in the current capitalist phase of structural unemployment, precarious labor relations, low wages and fake entrepreneurship [worker dressed as a company or with a record of company - CNPJ) without any social, labor and retirement rights. Killing for fun is nothing new and Western history is full of examples like the games at the Coliseum during the Roman Empire. The differences between Squid game crimes are screaming. In the Coliseum games killing was fun for rich Romans and people, but the fights had senses of honor, nobility of character, freedom, ideals (Christianity) for the persecuted as Christians and enslaved in the wars of expansion of the empire. Two excellent films portray this moment: SPARTACUS AND THE GLADIATOR.9

THE GAME

www.google.com.br/images It looks like the #bolsonarogencidal assassin doll ...and It is.

In the squid game life is devoid of any meaning or value without money; it's not worth living without money. Indebtedness is suffering with no way out, it is preferable to die. There is no space for solidarity, trust, sharing, charity, faith, mercy, friendship, community. And there are lines in the episodes that confirm this thought. On the island there is no space for nobility of character, honor, ethics, morals, any virtue. It starts with the Machiavellian human condition: man is evil, evil is part of everyone's DNA and even when someone does good (player 218) it is because they intend to do greater harm, they will deceive, they will betray and always for the money, for the prize of 45.6 billion won.To participate in the game the necessary condition is to be bankrupt, indebted, desperate for money and these people are hunted through their private data. All players find themselves in this situation of despair and hopelessness. So it's super easy to bring the sheep to the church, oops, to the island, to the slaughterhouse. Addictions, human weaknesses, debts, despair and hopelessness are used as traps, baitsfor soul fishing and for games of any kind. As an example, religious uses (with exceptions, of course): "You who lost your job and are in debt, you who were betrayed by your husband, you who have cancer, you alcoholic, you addicted to drugs, addicted to gambling, you lost money on the Stock Exchange...Jesus loves you, God wants you to prosper, rich...and blah blah blah." Any resemblance to Brazilian religious leaders is not a coincidence!

THE CONTRACT AND RULES

Yes, there is a contract where the rules (clauses) of the game are set, at least 5 of them: the prize for a single survivor, ops, player of 45.6 won; rule 1 "the player cannot stop playing"; rule 2 "the player who refuses to participate will be eliminated"; rule 3 "games can be ended by majority vote" and the rule that allows you to pick up where you left off. Generally and most of the time...Who reads the contract? I haven't read it, but I agreed to give all my data free to Facebook to do whatever it wants with it, including SELL private data to rig elections around the world, which was proven in the Brexit elections (UK exit from the European Union ); manipulation of elections in the United States - 2016. Steve Bannon, Donald Trump's campaign manager, was one of those involved with the Cambridge Analytica company, accused of manipulating elections in several nations, including the United States and Brazil.10

Squid game. Screen print. Episode 1. Chips 1, 2, 3. Who reads contracts, especially the fine print? Died.

Of the 456 Squid Game players only one, player 218 apparently read the contract! What is proven by the insane escape of players when they realized that that was a deadly game and to be eliminated was literally to be MURDERED. Many were annihilated in the attempt to escape. At the end of the first game, 255 "potatoes" were literally fried. With the deadly clauses cleared up, the remaining potatoes do not want to be annihilated and give up the game in a fierce vote: 100 x 101 and go to their homes and lives unhappy and indebted. The reality shock of death in the game is not enough to keep the "chips" in their real lives of failure, debt, hopelessness, despair and this is used by the game's architects to capture them back: you're a failure, your life is not worth living, dying playing is the best solution. Traumatized, now people are convinced that SUICIDE is the solution. They return to the game and the carnage continues. Why choose suicide? Why do they kill themselves in children's games even after they become aware that staying and playing is CRIMES AND SUICIDE?

People who watch the series report feeling "confused", failing to understand well, expect clarification in season two; want other children's games to eliminate players; expect a happy ending... Did the cop die? Did he manage to send the information to the Korean police? And will player 456 be the hero who will end the deadly games that, it seems, started in 1988? Will he avenge everyone? And the leader will take the place of the architect VIP of theSquid game? Can you put Brazilian children's games like Amarelinha, Seis Marias, esconde-esconde seek to go viral next season in Brazil?

My question is... If Netflix got it right with this junk series, does it mean that the next productions will be at this very low level? If yes...Is it worth paying Netflix or Amazon Prime, HBO, Globo play, etc. aren't they better options for life and smart productions?

Life style $1,99 is an expression created or appropriated by me in the search for apprehension, understanding and discussion about the so-called stage "flexible capitalism of the new technological-scientific phase used in production" a term coined by David Harvey and added by the internet and the emergence of social networks where the wealth of material production follows an immeasurable enlargement of human material and spiritual misery and poverty in all classes.
